"Little People"

I told you we couldn't resist!  While we may not be able to hear the rest of the song, we do at least have the snippet Insider so generously gave us.  So Daph and I had some fun interpreting it in our way... lol  Oh and I said I wouldn't go there, but pfft, I guess I did, lol.  So here goes:

"Little People"

(First off, it was funny because just yesterday, Daph was referring to a co-worker of mine as a "little man" because he likes to make up for his insecurities in his job by dragging down others who he feels competes with his position.)

Little people break like china

(If Tatu doesn't treat precious fans (the lyudi invalidi sort - not that I'm condemning them or anything, I would never..., ;)) like china they will fall apart.  Tatu is expected to handle them with kid gloves, because they are so fragile, and Tatu owes them for buying an album?)

Little people fall to pieces

(They will run around screaming like chickens with their heads cut off, like OMG TATU is OVER, the SKY IS FALLING, the WORLD IS ENDING!!)

Ugly, pretty, major, minor

(These little people make ugly things out of pretty things, major things our of minor things)

Shoot to kill nobody misses

(These people go for the jugular, attacking with vicious judgment, criticizing you for what you believe.  AND/OR They think they think they've always hit the target, they've always won, they are always right - basically, they think they are perfect.)

Little people melt like vinyl

(I love this one, Daph gets full credit for this one:  The people are like broken records, they never change, they never stop, they just keep on harping, and harping.)

Little people re-assemble

Bigger, smaller, better, finer

Little pieces on the table

(An assembly line, creating little monsters - inflitrating and making minions, recruiting the forces.  But even though they may think they are big, strong, perfect robots, they are still robots, and at the end of the day, all they really are are just little pieces rolling along on a conveyor belt, and mindlessly assembled.)

I can't wait to find out the rest of the lyrics...

Now, let us just assume that, perhaps not so literal as our fun lyric analysis (being about certain Tatu fans), but it is aimed at all little people in general...it makes us wonder if the theme of this new album will be literally - waste management.  Managing the "fall out" -- the crap and mess left behind by the lyudi invalidi.  If so, this makes Insider's comment about it not exactly being a "continuation of" the last album, but something a little different, then asking me to "think about it".   It appears, that this album is more of a response to the reaction of people TO the previous album.  Like the people suing because they didn't understand the lyrics of LI.  If this is the case, holy shit I can't wait for this album!  *giggles with delight*

Little People Analysis

Perhaps seeing the movie 300 has unduly influenced our latest interpretation of Little People, lol, but we got to talking about it - actually, it was before we saw the official lyrics were put up...so once we have a chance to really look at those, this interpretation might completely change, or just expand.  So far we think the chorus is of course how "LI" look at the "LP", and the verses are their (the "LP") actual feelings about that - how "LP" have to play this game of hide and seek to avoid the "LI".  Verse one - the cloak of night hides them and they are free.  Verse two:  this is the shitty game they have to play to hide from the "LI", but they hate it.  Verse three:  How they have to hide true feelings during the day, under the spotlight.  Verse five:  when they do stop hiding and run like hell, nothing will stop them.  The machine will not win.  Or something like that...we think... lol

But, before I go in depth on Little People, first I wanted to clarify a bit about the previous album, or at least, the way we perceive it.  So disclaimer, this is our own perspective and interpretation, it's not fact, I just don't feel like starting every sentence with, we believe or in our opinion, lol.  So...
