I was going through old files on my computer and I found a document where I had saved some PM's between Daphne and me. Tatysite was the first forum (of any genre) that I ever joined. The PM I sent to Daphne on April 7, 2003 was the first PM I ever sent to anyone. I had been on tatysite for a few months, but had never explored some of the features available - it was all very new to me. I'd used email listservs before and Instand Messengers, but that was it. But, one day I decided to see what the "friends list" thing was and what a"private message" was. And, for whatever reason, because there were a number of people whose posts I enjoyed reading and tended to agree with, e.g. Xena225, Convol, Freddie, Rob, etc. But, for whatever reason, Volkotina was the only person I added to my friends list and eventually PM'd.

Behind the cut is our first time meeting. It is embarrassing and dorky, but sentimental for me.
