Charismatic guise
Easiest to rule
Simple-minded fool
Taste power and fame
It's war, light the flame

Turning tricks to pay the rent
Dreaming can be misleading
Love is gone, it's all been spent
And tears won't stop the grieving

Hungry night and waning day
Selfish pride and vanity
Solid ground your faults betray
Strike against your sanity (It won't save humanity)

Heartbeat Stalls

Darkness brings the cold of night,
The earth beneath my feet divides,
The crumbling world runs in fright,
Majesty's evil reign resides.

Gallant beast beat your wings,
Fly through the rushing wind,
Sad old songs the shadow brings,
Hiding in the skies that bend.

Rolling hills, shed your coat,
The leaves prepare to fall,
Down the river where the clouds float,
The heartbeat begins to stall.

Revelations

Sad tears of amber fall down my cheek,
The Lamb sits by my side.
I see the seal, seven for the weak.
Warriors mount their colored ride.

Within the trumpets blow,
The moon beams red with stars of bitterness,
Tattoos of hand and forehead show.
Along the river of remembrance.

The seven flasks of death shall pour
and I haven't yet written any more

Fearful Sight

I see but cannot feel
I want but cannot imagine,
What shapes break thy mother's seal
Where evil lies with silent siren

Corrupting great fortitude
Seeping through wide cracks
Lonely hearts pulse with magnitude
Ripping through time tracks

Seeing horrid beings grow
Wishful tongue speaks change
Sugar lovely musty foe
Sending critters far in range

Closed lips, a lost metaphor
Stabs so deep, we almost care
Color water like fire
Singing sweetly of despair
Dousing rain, my desire
We find our common ground
Rock aboard the sinking ship
But you are lost and I am found

Perverted

The wind tells you secrets
For you to tangle and weave
Like the stars in the sky
You make pictures to see
Blending the colors
All become one
On the golden ground
What was sacred is undone
