I know that the shut down must have been a tough thing to do. Unfortunate, in this situation you cannot make everyone happy. I have to echo Lena’s sentiment in one of her diary entries. She voiced that everyone has a right to their opinion (which I do believe), but obviously it greatly upset her. I think that t.A.T.u's response to the forum has to do with part of the shutdown and for that reason I'll respect it. Yes, people should have the right to say what they want. The comment on "Fuck War" is a perfect example. However, that was awhile ago and I think that the girls have matured a bit since then -over censoring is not good either of course. I think the major point of the situation is that members are being turned away from a forum that has become undesirable. In order to change that, drastic measures have to be taken. Lets keep an open mind about the changes - maybe they are for the best and maybe it will be the best thing for everyone. Give it a chance and if it doesn't seem to work and turn more people away then things can change later on. Whoever "Inside" is I think that they are rational enough to listen to our voices if the new changes don't work, but for now I think it's fantastic and I fully support it. Note: Maybe there can be a separate forum (a mini forum) for those who want to shout phrases like "You're D'Best" and so on for those who just need to shout out! and don't have time to write a novel. You can call it, the "We Shout!" forum. Anyway, it's not the end of the world here. The t.A.T.u. forum still lives on. PEACE, ~ VivaElan3 (Jennifer)

Hallelujah! Hope still lives. Even though I am not part of the chaos anymore, it will be nice to see the forum try to go back to an older more intellectual and cordial time. Back then also we were waiting, anxious, annoyed, curious.....but yet civilized.

I think you have erroneously jumped to conclusions about my reasons for happiness and unfairly brought up my tenure as a moderator.

The main reason for my joy could be cited as this statement "The "Department of Control" is not inspired with idea of forum turning to a playground for junior school kids and to a dump tank for bitchy asocials."

In my personal opinion too many people are flooding the forum with meaningless posts, having random chit chat, just being argumentative with each other, acting childish and silly. Almost like the crazy aolers who spam the tatugirls.com forum. So I am happy on the sole basis that management intends to save the forum from becoming a mindless hell hole of 12 year old AOLers. 12 year old AOLers are the bane of my online existence and need to be exterminated. Spam, flood and offtopics simply irk the senses out of me.

Perhaps I am an old and boring person, an elitist bitch who wants conversations to be in a particular way and am not able to adapt to the way kids speak nowadays. But like a grumpy old person I am simply nostalgic of the times when we could discuss current affairs, politics, society and lot more other meaningful discussions on the forums. It just seems the meaningful topics and the participation in various discussions have gone down.

Perhaps the lack of exciting development on tatu's end has driven away some of the more thoughtful discussion participants. Hopefully, management has a plan to attract all them back through whatever they intend to do.

*sheesh* I do sound like a version of my parents going "Back in our day.....", "When we were your age....."

Other than that I do not visit the actual tatu section of the tatu.ru forum much, so could not say much about it at all. Even in the forum I am part of I just quick check to see whats new and post once in a while.

In all honesty, I have no clue how things are run in the forum and have no right to comment anything on it at all. I probably should have not said anything in the first place. But I just did because I thought it to be an excellent idea to get rid of all people with the IQ of 12 year old AOLers.

Although I did want to clarify that as a moderator I did not have any special directives. I was never told not to criticize the girls or management. I was never told to censor any specific topics or people. I enforced the rules of the forum, the way I interpreted them. I did what I believed to be in the best interests of the forum. I did act in good faith intending to have a harmonious forum. Somethings were right, somethings I did mess up and do wrong. I am human after all. Perhaps to some it was all wrong, because not everyone has the same perception of rules or best interests. What I really want to clarify was that whatever right or wrong done by me during my tenure falls squarely on me, and I accountable. Management had nothing to do with it.

I am not going to state anything further on the subject as I have realized that I am really out of the loop. I have no clue what is going on, and am not equipped to make any informed statement. My personal perceptions really have no value as someone not in loop with things.

If people have concerns with anything related to what I did as a moderator, they can contact me privately. As for the present and future of the forum, management and the current forum administration is better equipped to answer and discuss that.

I merely made a nostalgic comment of a situation I really am not fully aware of. I not much in loop with the forums, the discussions and how they are run and keep up with things on a personal basis, checking for news, videos etc. It is not fair of me to discuss something I am sort of clueless about.

очень правильное решение. Главное это убрать модераторов, в своей массе они никчемная тупая биомасса препядствующяя своим недалеким умом нормальному общению на форуме. Я так вижу по комментам народ все таки привык быть рабами привык что бы ему указывали как жить что писать. Сами же они из за отрафировоннасти мозгов ничего умного сказать немогут. Я за то что бы основной контингент форума сменился, малотетние дрочеры пусть в обиде свялят куда нибуть подальше. Думаю что после таких трансформаций придет более интересная и конструктивная публика.
