PROJECT: УО is an album containing the Waste Management Transcendent Version Interludes, remixed with the Russian language songs from Happy Smiles (Веселые Улыбки). The "Project" lies in the restoration of the album's original title, Upravleniye Otbrosami (in Russian, Управление Отбросами). Custom-made artwork reflecting the original title was also designed.

Show Me Love's Russian alter-ego Ya Tvoya Ne Pervaya gets the dark and moody treatment with this astounding first-time mash up by ZaCloud. Get the straight Download link after the jump, along with a preview.

"A dark piece that starts soft and melancholy, then develops into high energy and thick layers with medium-tempo, earth-tone-but-strong beats. Bi-lingual Russian and English, though knowledge of either language isn't necessarily necessary. Male-and-female vocalist layers, with overlap used both for subtlety and impact. Would probably qualify for Hard Rock in terms of genre."

"I've always had a thing for the 1964 classic "Downtown" by Petula Clark - and not only because The KLF ripped it into pieces in 1987. On the same day I found the "Downtown" instrumental I also got hold of the t.A.T.u. acapella. Those russian girls never sounded more 60's!"

It's been kindly brought to my attention that the custom-designed artwork I made all the way back in November (read the post) has since been published in a magazine...
I don't have anymore details at present, such as what magazine published it and when (EDIT - I have found out it was published in MAXIM, check out their review of Vesyolye Ulybki on t.A.T.u m.e.d.i.a. Blog), but I just wanted to say I'm over the Luni to find out my artwork's been published, possibly even mistaken for the official artwork of the Beliy Plaschik Hyperion Plate! Thanks to [Hx2] at the tatu.us Forums for informing me and providing me with a scan of the review.
